CONCRETE GRINDING
Large and small areas are no problems for our technically-advanced grinding machines. From our small HTC 270 edger to our mind-blowing ride on 1.9-ton grinder which can deliver 1500 SQ/Metres of hard grinding in 1 day, leaving the floors flatter than any other grinder on the market.
Concrete grinding is the method of using diamond blades called shoes and concrete grinding machines to remove adhesives, glues or levelling the surface for the preparation of vinyls, wooden floors etc.
Many different grinders are available on the market and all offer variations to grinding concrete. Our machines and our highly trained staff provide a dust-free environment with low noise with excellent results.
NZ Grinders’ machines are all highly efficient which means high production for our clients, resulting in lower costs.
We do floor prep/concrete grinding for car parks, houses, workshops, aircraft hangers etc for floor coatings and rain-damaged concrete.
The Process
Firstly, we remove existing flooring and grind back any tile glue or adhesives.
The floor can then be rejuvenated with your choice of covering – tiles, vinyl, wood, epoxy flooring, sealing or a genuine concrete polish.
The grind can take your floor back to whichever level of exposed stone aggregate you choose – available options are generally Salt and Pepper, Moderate or Full exposure with a choice of Gloss, Satin or Matt Honed.
